The Piece Process is a social entrepreneurial
venture devoted to creating and assisting in the implementation of Community
Philanthropy, empowering each Piece of the Community through initiatives in the areas of commerce, the arts,
education, and social programs. The Piece Process Initiatives are
vehicles through all members of the community can work together in a variety of ways to benefit The Common
Good.
The Piece Process puts Community
Philanthropy into action, creating strategic partnerships at a
grassroots level, with all projects having an integrated, mutual-benefit
approach, leading to stronger community foundations. It is indeed a
process.
Our modern communities are fragmented, with the various
elements – individuals, schools, businesses, organizations, institutions -- rarely working together or even
considering that they can work together. The Piece Process
develops and assists in implementing new ways for the pieces of the community
to work together for truly mutual benefit, thereby strengthening the individual
elements and the community itself. The Piece Process combines a mission of social
service and a focus on The Common Good with the ability to generate income and
experiential opportunities of integrity.
The Piece Process connects two simple
ideas:
There are many cooperative ventures to be introduced
which embody the concepts of Community Philanthropy and
Conscious Commerce, with varying levels of revenue generation potential for all
involved.
As an L3C corporate structure, The Piece Process combines the primary focus on social service and The Common Good with the ability to generate income opportunities with
integrity.
